ใฏ โ€” Particle for Comparison & Contrast

Use ใฏ when comparing two things or setting up a contrast with ใงใ‚‚ (but).

Pattern: [A]ใฏใ€œใ€‚ใงใ‚‚ใ€[B]ใฏใ€œใ€‚

3. Learning Context

  • Core Rule: ใŒ is locked to ๅฅฝใ / ไธŠๆ‰‹ / ใงใใพใ™ โ€” these words always take ใŒ, never ใฏ.
  • ใฏ signals contrast: Whenever you want to say "A is X, but B is Y," switch to ใฏ for both subjects.
  • Nominalizing verbs: Verbs + ใฎใฏ turns them into noun phrases โ€” ใฏใ—ใ‚‹ใฎใฏๅฅฝใใงใ™ = "Running is something I like."
